The main idea of Azure Log
Analytics is a service in Azure cloud that monitors the cloud and on-premises
environments to maintain their availability and performance. Log Analytics
collects data that generated by resources in the cloud and on-premises environments
and from other monitoring tools to provide analysis across multiple
sources.  We can use monitoring if we
have no current monitoring in place for our Azure environment then we should
start with Azure Monitor.  The azure
monitor collects and analyzes monitoring data for Azure resources. Log
Analytics can collect data from Azure Monitor to correlate it with other data

Log Analytics includes a query language to quickly retrieve and consolidate
data in the repository. Create and save Log Searches to directly analyze data
in the portal or have log searches run automatically to create an alert if the
results of the query indicate an important condition. With the Azure Log
Analytics Container Monitoring solution for Linux clusters we can centralize
and correlate millions of logs from containers at scale in the cloud. We can
see real-time metrics on CPU, memory, storage, network usage, and performance
for containers and nodes. It’s easy to identify containers that consume excess
resources on a host also monitor resource usage. Also able to view overall
container node inventory. Now general availability (GA) release of the
Container Monitoring management feature for Azure Log Analytics, which is now
available via the Azure Marketplace.

Network Watcher is a service that
enables to monitor and diagnose conditions at a network scenario. Network
diagnostic and visualization tools available with Network Watcher helps to
understand, diagnose, and gain insights to the network in Azure. The
connectivity check feature in Azure Network Watcher is in public preview. We
can use Network Watcher to test a direct TCP connection from a virtual machine
to a virtual machine,URI,IPv4 address. All these are implemented through
Network Security Groups, firewalls, user-defined routes, and resources provided
by Azure. Complex configurations make troubleshooting connectivity problems
challenging. Network Watcher helps reduce the amount of time to find and detect
connectivity problems. The returned results can provide insights into whether a
connectivity problem is due to a platform or a user configuration problem. The
connectivity can be checked with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and REST API. Now a
preview of a new Connectivity Check feature in Azure Network Watcher, which is
Microsoft’s service for “scenario-based monitoring” of Azure network
resource interactions.

Azure Monitor is the built-in
platform monitoring service that provides a single pipeline for monitoring and
diagnostics data across all Azure services, enabling a user to monitor,
diagnose, and get alerts & notifications of problems in cloud

support for a shared gateway used on the customer’s premises. This gateway,
called the “On-Premises Data Gateway,” is used to support the use of
Microsoft Flow, Logic Apps, PowerApps and Power BI services. Enterprise
application builder team or Company or Organization typically might use the
On-Premises Data Gateway when they want to secure data locally that’s used with
those services.
